Questions about repairs and parts for other brands of furnaces and air conditioners. Please note that our speciality is Coleman and Nordyne products, so our knowledge of other brands may be limited.

Just had our first 1 year service done by "One Hour Heating" and the air cleaner was grungy.
Between smoking, cooking and cat fur it looked terrible.

$79.00 service and $96.00 for the filter.
It is large though, roughly 24x24x4 inches.

Has anyone found a cheaper source for these thick filters?
Then I can just replace my own. One place on-line said about $149.95.
Any thoughts?

Hi,

Write Mark at [email protected] and see what he can possibly get them and sell it for.

They are high though and are best if that is what the manufacturer recommends.

Thanks,
Robert

Robert.
I'll open up the enclosure when I have a chance and get the part number off it.

It did last one whole year, but it was brown and fuzzy. 2 cats you know.
Thanks
