Hi all,

I am in the process of trying to re-wire a Nordye mobile home system bearing "E2EH-015H, 017H." I have found a place to purchase the wiring harness kit from, but they sell two kits...
one for E2EH-015HA and one for E2EH-015HB. I was wondering if anyone knew how to tell which one I have since the sticker doesn't state A or B? Thanks in advance.

Rich

Hi Rich and welcome,
This is what i found out about your model #. At the beginning of the model # is E2EH that means that your unit is a heat only furnace. At the end of the model # is an HA or HB. The difference is the HA is A/C ready and the HB is model revision replacement. So since your unit is an E2EH I would say the correct model number for your unit is E2EH-015HB. Now if it does turn out that you have A/C we will have to revisit this.
Thanks and hope this helps

Bill,

Thanks for the reply. It is a mobile home unit. Definitely has a/c. The problem I'm having is that the drip pan drain line got clogged and the condensate drip pan overflowed onto the heating coils and breaker area. Some of the wires melted and an Uncle of mine, replaced what he thought needed to be replaced. Then, my Brother replaced the blower motor because it wouldn't work. I replaced the circuit board because I determined that it got some damage too. Now, when you apply power to the unit (flip the breaker on), and turn the blower switch on the thermostat to on, the compressor unit (outside) comes on, and the relay on the new circuit board clicks (once), but the blower still doesn't circulate any air. I know the motor works because I wired it direct to the breaker and it worked just fine. I believe the problem to be in the wiring, so I wanted to just order a replacement wiring kit. BUT, the problem is that the supplier of the wiring kit has two models... one for a E2EH-015HA and one for a E2EH-015HB. I am just trying to determine which one I need for the unit I have. Thanks.

Hi Rich,
Well i am not sure how to tell what model furnace you have soooooo. Here is a web site that has the manual for both model's.
http://www.hvacmanuals.com/store/storefront.php
You can down load both manuals. This way you will be able to look at the wiring diagram for each type and figure out what is your model.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. I figured it out. I ended up not ordering a wiring kit, I just used the wiring diagram and re-wired the whole thing. It works like new now. I also discovered that the whole model number was on the back of one of the metal covers. I just overlooked it.
