Hello all,

I havea Nordyne E2EB-017HA unit in my Mfg Home. On AC everything works just fine. When the furnace heater is engaged, it randomly trips the bottom breaker on the unit itself.

It may go for several days without tripping this breaker and then it might trip this breaker within minutes. I can see the elements glowing and the unit. When this happens, the unit gets extremely hot to the touch and I am afraid to leave it on at all when on one is at the house.

Does anyone have any ideas as to the possible causes of this problem?

The blower I assume is working fine since it blows with the AC without issue.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Check inside for loose or burnt wires.

Remove blower assembly and look down on elements and see if any has broken or fallen and touching frame or each other.

May be a shorted circuit.

Thanks,
Robert
