need help with heat gas valve problem

i've got a intertherm mgh-065a-b with a unitrol mg-065n gas valve. it has not been hooked up for 11 years.(ac has and works fine) had propane guy come out, hooked up and couldn't get lit. removed gas valve and cleaned pilot orfice still won't lite. tried to find new gas valve and told nordyne 901371 but not sure and its not cheap. can i clean or rebuild this one? do i need to get another one and if so which one and part #. can i get a used one? i'm close to oklahoma city.

Cannot be rebuilt and not safe to buy used. If you have LP, be sure to watch video at the link given at bottom and change valve from NG to LP use.


Did the propane guy check gas pressures in and out of gas valve ?

If not, would get that done to see if it is working.
