I have a Nordyne Intertherm heat pump, it's worked great up until last night. It froze up. I mean like a block of ice, I was a work when this happed. I got home cut it off and let it thaw out. The unit outside runs and you can hear it trying to cool but the blower ain't on. So I turned it to the on switch and it was making a hum but not turning, so I carefully gave it a twist and it started blowing. I let it run for a min then cut the fan back to Auto and went to turned the A/C back on and it blowing now, so my question is. The blower is prolly the problem but is it pricey to get it fixed or is it a DIY kinda thing! Please any information will help. Thank you and love the web site!
