I need new filters and I never can get by the mobile home store before they close. I have an A coil that has the 16x19 wire mesh filters on both sides. I have rinsed this off so much the metal around them has came off. I wanted to know can I use the regular ones that I can get at lowes or Home Depot or not.

As long as they fit, anything is better than nothing.

Mark at the site's store may have something for you too. You could give him a call. Phone # is in the books & parts section of the site.

Yes, the pleated or fiberglass ones you can get at a hardware store should be just fine. I usually use pleated with the metal bracing.
