I hope no one thinks I am cuukoo, but does the material on your roof ( rubber, metal, shingle, etc) make a difference in the hearing, absorption of the sound of sub woofers on car stereos? I am the only M.H. on our block, and it seems that I am hearing to a greater degree the uber-annoying sounds. Does the fact that we are in a 70 ft. long "tunnel" make a difference?
Any advice, answers, etc. will be greatly appreciated :?:

There are so many variables here, Materials, shape, window location all come into play. This may be a good question for an acoustical engineer, But there are a few things you can try to REDUCE the noise. Low frequency bass is very hard to eliminate.

You could try a google search on sound proofing.
