I don't know if others have seen them but I've run across at least 6 spam posters who
have registered and posted links from Viagra to porn.

I "flagged" one with the "!" link but never got any response. Is there a report on
these posters and what is being done?

Seems to me if there were more * on the profile page that made you fill in information
on owning a real mobile home and e-mail confirmations it might deter these creeps.

Once a site gets a rep for easy sign-up it can only get worse.

Bill, as soon as I see anything it gets deleted, there are 5 of us with delete ability but we are not always on line. Greg

We're are going more and more towards needing admin approval of any registration. We try not to do that as it makes it frustrating for people to ask a quick question, but it's getting where we need too.

I deleted a bunch of spam post yesterday morning and again today, flagged a couple profiles also. They are really hard to keep up with.

As Greg said, there are 5 of us, but all of us have full time jobs, all I can say say is sorry for the offensive post. Will try to check in more often, but as the weather gets better there are more chores to keep up with.

I do know if there is any notification back when you flag a post or profile, I have yet to receive any notification. As for the email notification I asked about that yesterday, hmmm, better go check that post before I comment.

Unfortunately until we can figure out why most e-mails are blocked, notifications won't work.

That's a PHP quirk, or PITA! That is why the photo album is down right now, because of spammed porn links! There all mods that you can install that can take care of the problem, but it takes a lot of work.

Staying one step ahead of them, is a full time job! Main reason I gave up the website company! It's a nightmare out there right now!
