I just finished putting a new blower motor and integrated circuit board in my Coleman Evcon DGATO56BDD and went to turn my unit back on then got the flashing code that my centrifugal switch is stuck closed. I was wondering ..

1. Is the switch located in the booster motor ? ( I am suspecting it is )
2. Does the switch have to open before it allows current to switch the a/c on. ( Just want to understand how it all works, while i'm in it .)

When I turn on the fan on , on the thermostat the code is all clear but as soon as I set the a/c to come on, it doesn't and the code starts flashing. Even with the fan on I can go back and turn the a/c back off and the code goes back to all clear.

Thanks for any help you may be able to give me on this ....
