Hi there!

Ok, so mom's Coleman heat/AC unit is not engaging the AC. Outside unit and fan operates like normal. Blower fan in the inside unit seems like it's not quite running at full speed but cold air seems to be emitting from the A coil below but nothing is happening through the vents in the house.

In 2003 she tells me it did this same thing. A repairman from the next state came for a $100 service call and stated he installed a new "Relay" which was a $28 part. And that was it.

Any suggestions are appreciated! I'm wondering if I can find out about this relay and replace it myself... Really can not afford the service call myself!

Thanks again!

Hi,
I think i can help you out on this. I looked up your furnace model number and got a part number for the relay. Here is a link for a new relay, the web page also has a great video on the relay and how it works.

Thanks, Bill!

I just need to figure out where this relay exists on the unit.

Cheers!

Hi again,
i am guess that you don't have the owner manual for this furnace. So I have a link that will help you.
http://www.hvacmanuals.com/store/produc ... ace-Manual
The manual has it all the wiring diagram and parts diagram. It show you where the fan relay is.
Hope this helps.
