I have a Coleman evcon DGAT070BDC gas furnace and I woke up to the alarm and a red blinking light that says the attic fan needs servicing is this serious? I rent the mobile home and there is no manual I have never had a furnace before, I turned off the alarm but it is -12 out and am afraid to turn off the thing?

You can disconnect it for now and work toward finding the problem and repairing when it is warmer.

It is a separate system from your furnace and is not needed in order to operate the furnace.
