Hi, I have a coleman- DGAA and split a/c system . just turned on heat for the season in iowa. however the blower will only run on high speed . wires are right on the thermostat & control board if i take the high speed wire off the cool terminal fan won't run , only with high speed on cool terminal , i'm guessing the relay on the board is bad ? also a little bit of a grumbling noise when fan first starts bearing dry, no play in shaft ,wheel is clean :?:

Until Robert replies to this post, does the blower run constantly or only when there is a call for heat?

Hi,

Test board and see if you 24vac across W and C.

Then, see if you have 120vac across HEAT terminal and one of the NEUTRAL terminals.

Thanks,
Robert

yes i have 26 vac across w and c and 120 on heat terminal , so since the fan motor is a grumbling at start up for a few seconds could it be a bad motor ?

IF there is a fan run capacitor, replace it first. IF there is no change, then motor is most likely bad.

Can give order info on parts if needed.

Thanks,
Robert

Must be 440. IF you ever have one that is 370, replacement can be 370 or 440.

For 440 though, it must be same.

Thanks,
Robert
