My furnace is model # 7995-656/D
When the furnace is off there is a constant humming noise.
When I turn the fan switch off it goes away.
The furnace also has very short cycles, and when the cycle ends
after about a minute the blower starts back up for about 45 seconds to a minute. Any help would be appreciated. The anticipator setting is at .2
Thanks, jford

You'll have to open control box and try to determine exactly where it is coming from.

Look in your owners manual or on the gas valve itself or on the data sticker on furnace for the correct heat anticipator setting.

Make sure filter is clean and also a-coil if you have a/c.

Thanks,
Robert

What would I be looking for? A transformer or something similar.
Thanks again

Usually the transformer makes that jind of noise. It is common.
God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.
