I have a Coleman electric furnace model 3400A816. The sequencer for the heating elements fails about every year, last one only lasted 5 months. It's scary because when it fails the heating elements stay on with no fan running. It gets very hot. I noticed it gets damp from the AC running so that's probably the cause, it's in a bad location. Any of you have this problem, any ideas to fix it? Thinking of moving the sequencer to its own box outside the furnace where it won't get damp from the AC condensation.

I would give it a try, what's the worst thing that can happen- it fails again?
