RE: Dryer recommendations please

We're gradually switching over to all Bosch appliances. I'm fairly certain they're not part of the big three listed above. We started with a dishwasher and went from there. They tend to be more energy efficient and they're quieter.

RE: Mold/mildew on ceiling

I think the water stain gives it away. There has to be some kind of inlet for the water by the roofline. It could be the rain was so forceful it pushed in at the top of the siding and under the roofline. Mold and mildew are nothing to mess with. I would explore and find out what's going on and remed...

RE: Neighbors

The property in question as far as the culvert goes belongs to the city. The city put new curbs and gutters in on the street the cottage is on and hired a large number of idiots aka engineers to do so. The runoff comes through a pipe and under and out flooding the cottage lawn and then spilling down...

Neighbors

Some of this you already know, but here is an update. I need ideas quickly. :x The rental we bought is on the corner, our home is the next house one way and the problem neighbors are the house the other way. We share two property lines with them. The rental's side yard and our side yard. Our side ya...

RE: affordable flooring

another note about the floor being level. Pre basement we tried to buy some laminate for the kitchen. Brought some samples home to look at the colors and found there was no possible way it would work. We'll look at it again now that the house is level when we have more money.

They're rather loan oriented there. You could likely type it anywhere and get a response.

RE: MH Homeowners insurance?

Louisiana, Texas and Florida mh insurance is going through the roof after the hurricaines. Geico doesn't write homeowners policies through Geico, however we do have several different companies that we go through to find a good rate. A lot of time you're going to be spinning your wheels looking and c...

RE: Painting wicker patio furniture

It's real wicker I got quite the deal on it at Goodwill. A loveseat, two arm chairs, a rocker, a coffee table and end table for $100.38. Last year we just used regular white spray paint, which provided less than exceptional results. Now the poor results are peeling off.

Painting wicker patio furniture

I guess this would be somewhat of a decorating/landscape question. Moderators, move if you must. I have wicker furniture that came in a horrid John Deere green color. I want it to be white for my front porch. Spray paint didn't work all that well last year AND it's peeling off this year already. How...

I'd third the popcorn ceiling motion. There were also heavy smokers here prior to us buying it, probably more than just tabacco cigarettes, but that's another story

Most regular home products can be used on mh's if you modify the home. We've redone this entire place and never bought any mh product.
