hi guys n gals. bought my floor materials today,,my uncle who is a retired electrician told me that now they recommend osb for floors instead of plywood due to de-lamination of the plywood. I still bought plywood although I could have gotten osb for half the price. Whats ur thoughts on this??

Hi,,
Redid this page 3 times,,it keeps saying you can only choose 1 media player. I had selected n/a on vids and media,,what do I need to do to make it work. I am getting tired of filling it out. :(

Harry, I have the seamless gutters but I think they are about 4 inches. They were also installed prior to this problem I believe,,and I see they leak. So Harry,
I have the same issue as you had,,how far out did you have to move the deck to keep water from splashing on house?? It has ruined the bottom of 2 inside walls not to mention what I cant see.

Thx for your response Greg,,I do realize that most all load bearing walls will be running perpendicular with joist so they will be supported by them. That is UNLESS the basic rule of non load bearing walls running parallel with them doesnt apply . I appreciate the knowledge.

Hello all,, I read on another forum that when replacing floors in doublewides that it was far easier to lay new plywood over top of the old particle board for the reason when you try to cut the particleboard out next to a wall,,and the wall isnt supported underneath by a joist that youll lose all su...
