RE: possible to put gutters on a manufactured home?

Gutters are a sore subject around here right now in the Winter! before we lost the carport two years ago, we had 4 inch gutters that did a very good job! RE: Winter woes

Hi klm9707, Frost heave is always an issue if you live in areas where this is common. However, we have heard of the skirting blocking doors over the last few years. In my opinion, that's not normal at all. There should be no reason set up crews in your area should not know how to set up a home to pr...

Hi Lefties, Have you had your heating ducts checked also? I'd also look for damage going up the walls, near the floors that were flooded. Advice when dealing with insurance companies. First, read your policy real well. A lot of policies will not cover flooding or water damage. If yours does, then ca...

I've got lap aluminum siding, and it's 34 years old. Plenty of dings and small holes. I use Bondo. Works like a charm! If you've got dings also, place a small screw into the aluminum, in the center of the dent. Use a pair of pliers to pop it back out. Cover with bondo, let dry, sand and you're good ...

Hey Tim, and I won't forget Greg! Thanks for the offer. Folks always have problems with their vehicles! Great idea! Even though I take my truck back to the dealership for service or problems, I still like to have an idea what they are talking about. These newer engines with computers and stuff aren'...

I was just telling Yanita what a mild Winter we've had the other day. Then the sky opened up and started dumping on us LOL! We had the series of three storms come through here also. This last one actually just dumped in the mountains. We didn't get much. Now, what I am really tired of is that biting...

LOL, snarking at Mark big time right now! Yeah, we had our share of snow a few years ago.... and yeah, lost the carport! Overall, we've been pretty mild out here. Got hit pretty good today with snow. First time I had to actually shovel snow this year... WOO HOO! But, the roads are horrid! Took me al...
