Re: E2EB-015HB IFR IFM problem

After a fire all the components should be checked and any burns wire ends replaced. Here's a list of parts that should be checked or replaced: 621898 relay, 621899 relay, 621814 transformer, 621958 contactor. You also want to be sure the elements aren't damaged. Furnace grade high-heat wire ends can...

Re: Coleman 7900 - blower motor keep running, when heating

Hi,

Most likely it's the fan switch. Post the entire model number and I can look up that part for you.

Re: Help ASAP! please!

Did your technician doublecheck the model number against the recall list? It's a new furnace for you if it matches one of these model numbers: http://www.dgatprogram.com/

Re: The fan on My Coleman Mobile home furnace is acting weir

Hi,

I assume your modeln umber is 7663-856? Do you use this furnace for heat only, or does it also blow the cold air for your air condioner? I'm trying to determine which motor you have, and if that motor has a run capacitor or not.

Thanks,

Re: EB23b

Hi,

You can check the continuity of the elements with a meter. Shut off the power and remove the wires. If you don't have a meter, then shut off the power, remove the wires and pull out the heating elements. Do a visual inspection for broken wires.

Re: DGAA070BDTB

The booster motor has to run in order to trip the pressure switch. As long as the booster keeps running and there's no issues with the pressure switch, you should be fine. For your info, this is your pressure switch: http://www.aberdeenhomerepair.com/store/product/2212/324-35972-000-Coleman-pressure...

The 2 black wires to the booster motor get power from the control board. Be sure you have 24-26 volts going into the board from the transformer. If you do, possibly the board has gone defective and we can take care of that under the warranty assuming there's no moisture damage or such on the board.

What did the tech say the problem was? Almost sounds like a chimney issue to me.

Re: Slow to Heat

Sounds like the burner isn't kicking out the proper amount of heat. Make sure your orifice isn't plugged and that the gas valve is receiving gas at the proper pressure. If all that's OK, then you may need a new gas valve. http://www.aberdeenhomerepair.com/store/product/2645/624583-Nordyne-gas-valve-...

Re: Crossover duct

Because getting air evenly to all rooms is basically the nature of the ductwork, I am a big fan of those booster fans that you mentioned just for that purpose. You can also get an inline duct fan, but those booster fans are quick and easy.

Re: Major problems with E1EH1-015A

When M1 and M2 are activated on the sequencer, that should turn on 1 heating element and the blower motor. My best advice is to have all the wiring and parts returned to manufacturer specs.

As long as the hoses are good you should be fine. Someday you'll probably have to replace the pressure switch, as those seem to go out every few years too.

Re: Coleman DGAA070BDTA Not lighting up

With the booster motor spinning, your furnace will run. But if its squealing and making noise, who knows how long it'll keep running. We don't yet have a video for replacing this part. It's not the easiest part to replace either as you have to go to the bottom of it and remove/loosen those parts to ...
