Re: Cistern Pump turn on Pump how?
Sounds like it is time for a pump service--they usually fix/replace pump and are electricians--as they go hand in hand--it sounds like it could be many things--from a bad breaker, to not wired correctly, to the pump is going bad due to age or run too much without water flow---or there could be other...

Re: Vinyl Upholstered Ceiling Beams??
I think you might have to remove the whole ceiling to get rid of it==without a photo it is hard to say but they did some odd things in the 70's lol--- the cost is not as high as you think--if you do it one room at a time---we used masonite 4 x8 sheets light weight and cost @$ 6 a sheet, you prime and...

Re: Weight concerns for ceiling cover-up
I would check with an engineer--we bought a 12 x48 that they had replaced the ceiling with reg 1/2drywall and it caused all the ceilings to bow and leak, when we removed the drywall you could see the roof raise back up and we ended up replacing the entire ceiling due to broken trusses and very weak t...

Re: PAINTING BATHROOM WALLS
Get a good primer and a good paint--I love Benjamin Moore paints--make sure you wash the walls really good clearner TSP you can get at Walmart or any paint store--let dry atlest 24 hours, then primer--let dry 24 hours, then paint---the primer has to have time to cure if you rush a paint job the resul...

Re: Replacing (only) tree damaged part of metal roofing
Go past the old roof at least a foot, then where you order the metal roofing will have different options that work with your metal roof you bought--most have abook or samples of it--it is hard to discribe but it is like aflashing but made to work with the roof, ours came in 12 ft lenghts I think tha...

Re: Roof Coating after Relocation - Need Advice
Unless you get really lucky and get a few days of warm weather,it looks like you are going to have to wait and see,as for the coating to work correctly and get into all of places to stop any leaks it has to be warmer--but be ready to jump on the job if you get luck witha warm spell lol--have you che...

Re: masonry stove in a trailer
Wow this stove looks big lol,the whole in the floor will be big--could you---build it right beside the mobile home and replace a window or just open a wall up to get the heat and beauty of the stove without taking up all the room and the structure of the mobile home? I know it might be more work but...
