RE: Whistling faucet

I think I may just go with a new faucet anyway. I could use an updated more decorative one. Hopefully that will be a simple fix. Hopefully!

Whistling faucet

My kitchen faucet "whistles" high pitch noise, mostly only with hot water. I can't stand washing the dishes, and this whistling on and on....It's not all the time, but 80% of the time. And if you bump it, or move it to just the right spot, it will stop. Rarely happens with the cold water. ...

RE: Why lock a topic?

If someone does post on an old thread, does it move that thread back to the top of the list?

Why lock a topic?

Just a question. I was just reading a topic, and then Yanita said she was "locking" it cause it was getting long. I was just wondering what is the reason for locking off a thread? Is it for space reasons? Or some computer reason? I was just wondering....

RE: gas/sewer smell

My stove is gas, but it's not like a gas smell. I have smelled something like it before, in the bathroom maybe last year. it's not very strong at all. I'm going to have to look underneath, or have someone come out. It's like a sewer smell, not a gas or propane smell. I don't have anything that is pr...

gas/sewer smell

Ok, this has probably been discussed before, and I will do a search, but lately I've been smelling a slight gas smell, first I thought it was like when your pilot light on your stove goes out, but it's not really a gas smell, it's a gassy smell, like it just hit me yesterday, that it's a sewer gas s...

retractable awnings

Has anyone ever heard of someone putting those Sunsetter retractable awnings on their mobile home? I think you push a remote button or something and they open out, and when your not using them, you can roll them back in? Their attached to the home, but not always extended. I was considering looking ...

RE: Leaning water heater

Thanks for all your suggestions. It may have been the wind, because coincidentally, it was VERY windy the day before, some of my skirting was even laying in the yard when I got home. So I don't know for sure. I thought since it was INSIDE not outside, that wind wasn't an issue, but could be. We did ...

Leaning water heater

I woke up this morning to no hot water. The water was coming out, it just was not hot. So I assume it's just the pilot light. The water heater itself is only a year old. Anyway, when I went to look and thought I would try to re light it myself, I noticed it was "copping a lean" a little to...

RE: Carport

Ok, I found what you said, I hope I can find it again when I go back in. But all the pictures I've been trying to add, are too big. so I guess I have to change them, or find some other picture for my avitar. One with less KB. Thanks for all your help. I think I can do it when I find the right picture.

RE: Carport

I guess I don't know where/how to put in my profile. I also want to put a picture in my messages, like you guys have your pictures, but I can't figure that out. I live in Southeast Michigan, like 20 miles from Good Ole Detroit. And yes we do get a lot of snow at times. I don't know what the rules/re...

Carport

I have a older 12 x 65 single wide, and am going to start looking into getting a carport. I have no awnings or anything, and would like something over the door, then thought about extending over the driveway. Anything I should know first? I know nothing of them, but a lot of neighbors have them, I t...
