In really old mobile homes they had aluminum wiring. I would recommend getting a licenced electrician to replace all the wiring, fixtures and breaker boxes. In my old mobile home I just put the conduit on the paneling inside the rooms. Lowes has decorative conduit. This option allows us people in th...

Some Ventilation tubes have insulation material wrapped inside the aluminum foil. If that stuff gets wet it stinks. You might have some mold in the tubes that makes it stink too. I would recommend buying all new ventilation tubes underneath. You can pull the metal boxes and clean them up and let the...

Dont weld it but use some patch to seal the edges. The interior is just pulling out the paneling and bad insulation and...

In Arkansas we have something called the Manufactured Home Commission. They are an independent government agency that regulates the Mobile Home business. See if you have a commission or board like that in your state and contact them. Maybe a State Inspector will come out and evaluate the situation. ...

Two Questions: Does it smell like poop or like stinky dishwater? Or is your water bill higher than expected? If there is no ventilation under the house the water can never evaporate. Just because it is on a hill the soil might be made of clay or sand underneath the topsoil. I recommend putting on di...
