RE: Manufactured home,Mobile Home or Trailer???

I know what you mean about "semi-stationary" lol. Ours doesn't have the wheels on and the hitch is laying under the home, not attached. I keep trying to keep in mind that I might want to move it some day as the land owner is such a pain! It may even be done at retirement if I could find &q...

RE: Atlanta..NASCAR Fans

As long as those Chevy drivers keep winning, it's all good. Partial to Stewart but JJ is a close 2nd.

RE: venting skirting

That is...1 square foot of free vented area for every 150 square feet under the home. If you put screen on your vent (recomended) then it takes away from the area of the vent. Someone here must know the percentage that screen takes away.

RE: Manufactured home,Mobile Home or Trailer???

Seeing as I am not going to hook it up behind the mini van and haul it down the road I hesitate to call it a trailer. I usually use Mobile Home for it. I use Manufactured Home for a factory built home that gets moved in on trucks and put on a foundation or basement.

RE: took 10 years to ask this...

Were the flat ceilings added at a later date? The reason I ask is that my 14x70 redman (1988) has cathedrals throughout. It just maybe a modification, from the factory or another owner. It may be worth your while to do a bit of inspecting. Perhaps remove enough ceiling in a closet to see.

RE: Blizzard Photos

We got hammered here...we are just off lake Huron so we got the lake effect squalls and high winds and -30 C temps. OK, I believe I've had enough winter! Wood stove kept us snug tho!

Avatars and photos

It seems that 115 x 115 pixels and 12K is a bit small for a pic....I can't reduce anything that much. What is popular for photo editing? I just use my Fuji Finepix editor but it will only reduce so much.

RE: New type of sheetrock

As long as it says on it that it is mold resistant. If it does not have that rating I would not use it in a bathroom.
