Re: Blend Air Blowr intermittent noise

Depends on what is causing it. Sometimes it can be repaired and other times it has to be replaced.

Thanks,
Robert

Re: Blower

Hi Don, Could be another loose wire, sequencer, fan relay, wire connection bad. Would have to test all components and connections in circuits to find the problem. For auto, t-stat sends signal to sequencer and it runs from there through the fan relay and on to motor. Then the other motor lead comes f...

Re: Nordyne M1Mb 090A AW Vacuum for the pressure switch?

Is it clearing error code and running fine due to power reset or due to problem resolved ?

Due to safety, thorough testing of all should be done to know for sure what was wrong and more importantly,,,,,,,,why ?

Thanks,
Robert

Re: Should I Switch to Heat Pump

Hi Ron, A heat pump would not be advisable in the cold temp area in which you live. Most are only good down to around 35 degrees and the very best ones only give some heat down to the twenties. Even then, they need back up auxiliary heat to produce temps desired in the home. They also reverse operat...

Re: Nordyne M1Mb 090A AW Vacuum for the pressure switch?

Hi, Could be the combustion air pipe damaged or leaking, inducer motor faulty, inducer motor wheel faulty/dirty, pressure switch tubes kinked-clogged-loose-leaking, no 24vac signal to pressure switch, incorrect water column pressure at switch. Or, none of the above. That is a safety switch error and...

Re: Heat Pump and where to find a good price

Hi, Goodman units of today are a lot different from the ones of old which brought about most of the bad reviews. The biggest problem is more about the installers than the Goodman units themselves. There are more higher end units, but don't rule out Goodman just by the bad reviews which don't tell al...

Re: Question for Robert

Hi, That is the flex duct from the VentilAire system . It connects to roof jack on roof and the blower pulls in fresh air to mix with the return air. In my professional opinion, it does more bad than good. In our two homes, I have it disconnected and plugged. IF you also have the VentilAire roof jac...

Re: intertherm feh-012ha element cycles on and off with stat

Hi Jeremy,

Remove the blower assembly from furnace and look inside down at the elements. See if the element that keeps coming on has fallen or broken and touching frame or other coils.

Re: Deluxe Blend Air II Damper Motor

Hi David,

Call Mark again and talk to him about what it is doing. He has all the parts in the store and can probably set up a scenario in his shop area to determine what may be wrong.

Thanks,
Robert

Re: blower motor

IF your blower assembly has a run capacitor, with a call for heat, spin the blower wheel and see if it runs.

IF it still will not run and there is power to the motor leads, then motor is most likely bad.

Robert

Re: Blower

Hi,

May just be a loose wire connection or a bad switch that circuit is running through.
