RE: 1/4" Rubber Flooring (for gyms) as bathroom or kitc

After e-mailing the company they say it is not recommended for "wet" areas. I still like the idea and may look for a commercial-kitchen grade rubber - just for grins...

1/4" Rubber Flooring (for gyms) as bathroom or kitchen

Okay, maybe I am a little weird - my wife would not disagree. I have this idea that I might like to use 1/4" Rubber flooring (like for a gym) in my bathrooms and kitchen. First of all I like the "industrial" look. Second, you can beat the POO out of this stuff and it will be fine - un...

Trust me - the only thing I am laughing at is myself, running around the yard "chasing gophers". Pesky little #*&$#$*.

That is a brilliant idea. Thanks!

Gophers - any tricks?

I have a couple of gophers who are building a small city near my septic tank. Not sure if they could damage it, but either way... GOPHERS GOTTA GO!

Any tricks or tips?

RE: PU - Stinky Stink-Pipes...

The guest bath gets used about 2-3 times a week and the MBath shower and sinks are used frequently every day. I pulled a big chunk of hair-glop out of the sink drain with my "Zipper" and it seems to have helped. Can I run a hose down the stink pipes from the roof? Maybe some Drano? I haven...

PU - Stinky Stink-Pipes...

I had noticed the occasional "odor" coming from my guest shower before, but only once in a while. Now I have a horrible stink coming from my Master Bath Shower. :? Can someone explain the plumbing configuration for a tub drain and how is it that my stink-pipes aren't working? Can they get ...

Venting a skirt -

I have a 16x76 SW. I just finished skirting it using 5/16" Hardi-Panel. I attached it at the top to the bottom of the house and dug it in about 3" at the bottom. I am very happy with it. Some has been up for over a year, no problem. My home is in South Texas (HOT). The house is 24" of...

DIY gutters... PITA?

I have a 76' SW and want to put rain gutters (leafless ?) up myself. I had gutters and they were bad so I ripped them off. I have a few questions: 1. Any recommendations for leafless gutters? 2. Do they have to have a slope running down to the downspout end? How much? 3. Is it a PITA job or not too ...

Know a trick for removing silicone caulk?

I have some silicone caulk in my tub that has molded and I need to remove it. Aside from hand-scraping is there a trick or some magical stripper that will do it?

Did that right off - couldn't stand the drip-drip-drip-drip.

I just haven't had a chance to look inside yet to see where it might be leaking.

Leak inside clothes washer...

Hope it's okay to post this here...

I have noticed a drip in my clothes washer. Kenmore - heavy duty - 80 series. If I lift the lid, the leak is coming from where the water normally comes out. No leaks outside or water on the floor. Any ideas?

Kitchen sink - dishwasher drain?? Mess...

I have a two section kitchen sink. Just a few inches from and next to the faucet (on the right side of the sink), is a drain of some sort. Looks like a broken soap dispenser. Under the sink the dishwasher drain first goes up to IT and then Ys back into the drainpipe. When the washer drains, it spill...
