RE: air conditioner line
I do not recommend using solder to do any work on high pressure A/C refrigerant lines. There is vibration there weather you can feel it or not and the pressures are usually higher than a water line. I have only used 15% silver sticks and I braze all connections. The biggest problem is when you are a...

RE: Nordyne oil to Propane conversion?
Your part number is a 903427 for a burner conversion kit.
The list price in the book is $1,019.00.
That is a lot of $$$.
Hopefully Robert will chime in here later today to see if he can offer you a discount or has another idea to solve your burner conversion problem.

RE: Installing Ducting
You have many questions and I might have a few answers. I am sure you are capable of doing the duct if you do not mind getting a little dirty and a few cuts from the sheet metal. I would have the furnace checked by a professional before you go any further. No reason to put duct in if the furnace is ...

RE: heating ducts
That question has been asked many times here and if you do a search you will find some answers. You can try to clean them out with a rag and your favorite cleaner on a long flexible type cable or dowel. You can check for dirt by using a flash lite and mirror to see just how much dust is in the duct....

RE: Dishwasher Air Gaps
The air gap has been in the code in different areas for years. It is for sanitation purposes. It prevents sewage back up into the dishwasher in case of a plugged drain. We used to install them in a hole cut into rear of the kitchen sink. On stainless steel they were a pain to drill since it is a lar...

RE: Intertherm AC, what ton?
32,700 BTU capacity per Copeland. That would probably make it a 2 1/2 to 3 ton unit since both sizes of units have used this compressor.
The difference being the size of the condenser coils for the different rate. Robert can get this compressor for you I believe.[/url]

RE: Coleman Evcon Model#DGU04008UC Blocked condensate syst e
Water is supposed to drain from the secondary heat exchanger. Obviously that is not happening since you are having this problem. On many units there is a way to adjust the sealed combustion pressure but you would need a digital manometer. The old water style tools do not work well in this category. ...

You have a condensate drain on that furnace. Check to see if it is plugged up or restricted. The water you are seeing is supposed to drain from the unit to the outside.

RE: monitor type heaters
I have talked to Pete Caruso many times at Monitor products. We have been in touch since 1995 when they brought the boiler line to this country from Europe. I have not messed with there other products but from what I hear they are junk since they split from Toyo stove years ago. They have cheapened ...

RE: Air flow between sections of double wide
There definitely could be some pressure difference from the furnace side to the other side being fed by flex duct. The best thing you can do is to make sure the flex duct is installed correctly. No choking or tight turns for starters. This cuts down on the air volume and will cause a large differenc...

Galv is actually better that aluminum. You can use takeoffs from the main trunk line to the hole. If it is a tall takeoff you may have to cut it down to fit.
