RE: nordyne elec furnace part
Hi, I had misread your Model Number, so there are some changes in order. Instead of a metal plate containing 2 Sequencers on it, your Furnace has 2 seperate Contactors. Instead of 1 Blower Relay, your Furnace has 2 Blower Relays. However, the cost is actually $2 less including shipping. Still...

Hi, That White-Rodgers T-Stat # 1F56-306 should have the following terminals: 4, W, R, Y, G IF you only have two wires, the White goes to W and the Red to R. I believe that is how it is wired now. Do you have or have access to a Multi-Meter to test voltages and do you feel comfortable doing so ? If ...

RE: How to repair wiring cut off at ceiling
Hi Tim, You're very welcome. The biggest eye opener to MH's is open up a ceiling or wall and have a look see. They'll have the wiring run through the underbelly, walls, attic area and sometimes underneath the belly. The main issue is good grounds, tight connections, junction boxes that MUST be acces...

Mark,
I have used toothpicks on numerous occasions and they work well.
My favorite though is golf ball tees. Cover with wood glue, tap it in as far as it will go tightly, then score it with a box cutter and snap off remainder.
Usually depends on the hole size.
Take care and best wishes,
Robert

Hi Tim,
IF you decide to DIY, hvac1000 is correct. Make sure junction box is correct size, with cover and easily/quickly accessible.
If unsure at all, then call an Electrician and have him/her do it for your and your families safety.
Take care and best wishes,
Robert

What is the model number of the t-stat ?
Had the furnace been working fine with the t-stat connected as you had it, then suddenly stopped ?
Thanks,
Robert

Hi, You will have to test the voltage going to the Motor and the amp draw of the motor only when it does this to have an idea of problem. Could be a voltage drop intermittantly, could be the Motor going bad. Also test voltage and amp draw when it is working fine to have a comparison. Also, be sure i...

Hi,
You're very welcome. With that absurd estimate, I tend to not trust this guy and want to be sure he has not done something dishonest.
Although, that estimate itself was dishonest .
Thanks,
Robert

Hi Yanita,
Headed your way. Been under the radar since last night. Some nasty stuff that skirted us, but no tornadoes here yet.
The cell that crossed last night had produced 11 tornadoes by midnight.
Take care and best wishes,
Robert

Mark,
I just deleted a post linking to Viagra site. Didn't check any profile and don't remember the username except it started with a lower case L.

Hi, You're very welcome. If one was stab in, most likely all others are as well. When time allows, it would be best to change all connections to the screws. Just do one at a time until all have been changed. Will alleviate a future power outage at a very inconvenient time. Glad it got you fixed up. ...

Hi, One other thing is to look down through ducts with mirror and bright light. Look for any ANY openings, cracks, etc. in the duct. MOST MH ducts have them (few are totally sealed and tight). The water that ran into the duct will seep/flow through those openings and cracks and saturate your belly a...
