well my home is a 2007 vintage so im sure it came pre wired that way from the factory.

the cable for cable tv is also underground from the house to the pole

that advice doesnt just apply to cheapy shed roofs. it should apply to your homes roof as well to help prevent any ice build up at the edge and melting into your house

wrap a piece of masking tape 1/2 inch from the point of the drill. a rapidly spinning drill bit may catch a tiny amount of insulation but not enough to worry about. insulation should only be on an outside wall. internal walls shouldnt be insulated stop drilling when you have reached the masking tape...

we also register our vehicles with DMV (all states require that) but we no longer receive a sticker for the windshield or for the license plate, just a registration card for the glove box.

my washer shakes every once in a while because the load inside may be a little off balance. nothing for me to worry about.
