((and close it which kicks in the IDM (triggered by the button when door is shut) it will then continue to ignite and the blower starts. Thereafter it runs successfully for days or weeks again without ))

Could be this switch? Jump it out and run it for awhile to see if it is the problem.

RE: Electric furnace cheaper than a propane furnace these da

That depends upon how big the electric furnace will be as far as KW is concerned. Remember also when changing over to a electric furnace that the electric service and indoor panel has to have the capacity to provide enough amps to the new electric furnace. We have electric furnaces in larger homes t...

RE: Backer for gas log stove

Usually gas log stoves are not energy efficient this is just a fact that is why I said what I said. I have two wood fireplaces here and I know that it costs me more to use them than the heat I get. Did you do a cost analysis? How much is electric how much is gas? Did you figure electric at 100% effi...

The breakers are plug in or bolt in depending upon the manufacturer. If the breakers in the furnace are not trippi...

Cheap cure is aluminum foil shinny side out. Now that is probably not what you wanted to hear but it is cheap and effective.

If you are trying to conserve energy do not run that stove. It probably is not very energy efficient. Just thought I would mention that fact.

Roof coatings

For years I coated roofs on our types of houses. Now I am to old and overweight to get on the roof so I have a young man at camp that does it for myself and other customers. Over the years we have used many brands of asphalt roof coatings some were good and some were to thin to do anything but give ...

RE: Furnace won't come on

The circuit breakers in the panel could be weak or defective. I would check the furnace for any short circuits on the heater before I would replace the breakers. Usually when there is a breaker problem in the panel inside the home it is a heater circuit and not a breaker problem. Many manufactures u...

Just looked it up again. The Booster relay will have 4 prongs. The fan blower has 5 prongs.

You need to find the 4 prong booster relay not the 5 prong blower relay.Wire it exactly like the old one.

Here is the wiring diagram.
