Wall Mirror Removal
I started to remove this mirror thinking that I would be able to slide it out one side. Forget that! there is mastic on the back. I have covered the mirror with tape so if it cracks I wouldn't be in a real jam. The only thing I can come up with that may not cause too much damage is sliding wet cotto...

You are correct...the door would have to be taken apart. I do plan to remove the glass as soon as I can see if there is a tool to remove the ~ shaped joiners for the corners.

CindyB, I am in the same boat. My cabinets have clear glass with some awful looking gold fleck boarder and scroll work...my personal taste, YUCK. I have noticed too that it appears to take a lot to get the glass out....I'm about to try it in the next few days. I will let you know how easy/difficult ...

Sorry for the bother...I spent the morning going through looking in the FAQ and my MPS....missed it somewhere....I saw where if you forget your password...but not how to change it......new to forums....so I'm kind of a fish out of water....please bear with me.

Hi, I just wanted to encourage you to go-for-it on your single wide! I redid a "rented" S/W back in 1999...it's never a bad idea to make your home your personal sanctuary.....good luck!

Thanks for the info...I did some research....I'll be going to Lowe's to check out the corner bead. I'm thinking....MAYBE I'll just do the Living Room & Dining Room areas....LOL I'm no spring chicken and only going to get minuscule help....

Hello All.....I've been lurking for a few years. I have a question about removing battened inside/outside corners. Will mud (joint compound) work as a filler and then use an inside or outside corner tool to smooth work? I like the look of the bull nosed corners. I hate the look of the two battens bu...
