I think your plan would work very well remember to caulk all seams and get a curved shower curten rod to keep water in tub.

Does it look like the fill-pipe threads where the butterfly thingee is? if so you may be able to turn the fill-pipe and unscrew it that way.

I believe that they are attached at the corners of the out side walls and at the roof and floor then the out side wall folds down on floor then the sides fold in then the floor folds up then the roof folds down on your tip-out I maybe wrong.

If you have the old stile storm windows one outside other inside like mine the out side window should come out from the inside like the inside window.

I think you will have to open the under belly any way to remove duct-work that goes to your registers in home so you can attach new duck-work to the registers.

check your skirting, and belly rap.
if skirting is not all sealed up cold air will come in.
