Re: aluminum siding -can i use roofing panels

If you don't replace a whole side of the home at once, I think you would have issues with different widths of materials and styles of corrugation sealing together.

Re: Windows

I wouldn't think you would have an issue, providing that the window is properly framed, and you are not trying to install a large picture window. I could see a large window having issues with flexing. It sounds more like they didn't want to do the work.

Re: Roof Question

I have the architectural on mine. At the time, there was little difference in materials cost, and the architectural had a significantly longer warranty.

Re: window question

Many years ago, we had a similar situation. I could not figure out how to remove the pane either.
My wife came up with a simple solution -- she called a glass shop to fix it!!

Re: belly wrap/insulation question

You are going to want new belly wrap also, attached below the fiberglass. Ysing just the fiberglass will leave lots of spaces for drafts and critters.

Re: Roof-Over Question

Color makes a huge difference if you are in full sun. I have a shingled roof, and there was a very noticeable difference even going from dark brown to light brown.

Re: Travel Trailer/Deck Roof transition

Scan_20140331_235935.jpg Throwing this out for consideration - Leave the deck roof as is. Attach a gutter to the trailer, sealing and flashing as necessary. Make sure that there is no way for water to seep in through the gutter attaching points. Attach more flashing from the other side of the gutte...

Re: help..how to attach molding

Remove the hex head screws and replace with flat head. I'm pretty sure I used drywall screws.
I had no problem nailing mine on, but the construction adhesive would work fine also.

Re: Travel Trailer/Deck Roof transition

That would be the best solution, if the park will allow it.
