Re: a/c blows to the ceiling...
Most air conditioners in mobile home require the blowers be set to the highest speeds. No return air systems so for your air to work right it's high speed blower settings.

Re: Intertherm Model MGH-065 random turn-on
Pick up a cheap heat only tstat and wire that into just the furnace. Eliminate the original tstat and all it's wiring. See what happens. Sounds like either a varmint chewed through a wire and when they touch the circuit completes turning on the heat or a screw was run through the original wire and n...

Re: accessing my A-Coil, Colemen Evcon
I usually snip a slot on the left side of the panel about a half inch below the elevation of the lines where they enter the unit. This gives you a little room to lift it out of the little retaining tabs at the bottom of the cabinet. Pull all the screws, cut the panel at the left edge, lift slightly ...

Re: replacing furnace
Nordyne's line of high efficiency furnaces start with either M3 or M7 as a model number. The M3 are 90+ and the M7 are 95+ efficient.

Re: replacing furnace
The base should be the same. The difference between the CMF-80 and the CMF-95 is the BTU rating. The 80 = 80,000 btu and the 95 = 95,000 btu.

Re: Valve Clicking While Running
The interior extension is the only one that will work in your case. The exterior extensions are only for getting the termination higher for snow drifting or problems with air flow over the termination cap from a steep roof pitch due to the furnace's location in the home relative to the peak of the r...

Re: Valve Clicking While Running
Roof jack too short for sure!! Probably pulling exhaust gases back through on the intake side due to a bad seal between the old and new parts. There is a little difference in diameter between the old stuff and the new stuff on the roof jacks. Look into getting a proper roof jack extension kit. Usual...

Re: Packaged Heat Pump Install Questions
A quick FYI, I don't think you will have enough grate surface area for an effective return if you locate it in a kickboard. All returns that I install for package air conditioners must be located in the middle of the home someplace and have a 14"x20" box connected to either a 12" or 1...

Re: Packaged Heat Pump Install Questions
Is your single set up with return ducting? Been doing this many years and have yet to see return ductwork in any single wide home. There was a system called Whisper Air in old Park Estate homes but that was nothing more than perimeter vents allowing air to flow through the subfloor cavity of the hom...

Re: Valve Clicking While Running
As sad as it sounds you could have many things causing this problem on a new furnace. Here's a quick run down of what can cause that flame to go out during the heating cycle. 1. Insufficient oxygen in combustion chamber. a. Check to be sure air intake assembly is clear or debris. Remove black motor ...

Re: Valve Clicking While Running
There should be an oriface to replace on there as well. Since it is a new furnace it should be under warranty. Get a new board shipped to you.

Re: All is not equal....
Pitch the level when working in your home, things aren't plumb or level. Use a square and tape measure to get as close to even measurements to existing outer walls, floors and ceilings as you can when you build. Interior walls are always OFF!!
