RE: What kind of tape?
HI busybee , You might try old fashioned freezer tape it should work as long as it has a clean surface to attach to and it will remove quite easily in the spring and if there is a residue from the glue you can clean that off with a rag and some lighter fluid. freeze tape should be available at your ...

RE: Installing wood stove in Manufactured home
Hi, I installed a REGENCY in my 14 wide and built my own hearth pad, was not difficult but here in Canada not only does it need to be mobile home approved it also has to be WETT certified. doing this yourself is not hard to do but just remember measure twice and cut once. My wood stove is sitting be...

RE: Compressor/nailer question
Hi , guess i must be old fashioned cause in my book of learning i was taught to glue and screw. having said that i have tried using air and altho it may be quicker, i find that the old way is still the best way(no squeaks). guess the choice is yours but you are the one that is paying the bills.

RE: Where to find replacement wallboard
Hi Jim, can not think of the name of the board but what it sounds like is a 1/4" plywood that has had a vinyl attached to it. you might be able to get this product at Home-depot,Eagle or if you have a plywood specialty store around you might find it there. in the interim i will try to find the ...

RE: Tilting porch roof
Hi CPA, just a thought if you have the room take a 4x4 that would extend out of either side of the roof about 2 feet and using side walk blocks as a base then use 4x4's and jack roof back into place. this will give you room to remove old supports so that you can dig or drill new pilings.I have done ...

RE: power issue
Hi digger, sound like you may have several problems. first i would check to see if any of your plug-ins are tied to light switches,to check this take a lamp and plug in to one of the plugs that has no power then try flipping light switches if that doesn't work then i would think either loose connect...

Hi Gillard, 6 mil poly (if blk & wht) place so that black side is down. if you are blocking your home you will want to place your blocking on a 6"base of gravel, this will help in keeping water away from blocking, and a hight of 36" is required between bottom of trailer and ground. you...

Hello and welcome, Have to agree with what Archie gave you and add one more item to the list. Talk to manufacturer and see if they can install a sprinkler system (know this is a huge cost but so is a new home) or a fire suppressant system with heads at the furnace and stove areas. wish that governme...
