Oh oh's Tim, you started something here. If you get too many questions, we might have to create a separate forum for you so all the questions don't end up in one thread! LOL. We'll watch it for awhile first.

BarbP,

Do you see a 'new friends' link or something like that at the top? If so, click on it and add me as a friend. Then you should see the 'my profile space' button. If not, holler back.

Hi Bill, The spell-checking mod is in the works. I see by your profile you are a programmer. How familiar are you with PHPBB? If you are familiar, we're having a real problem of e-mails being blocked to most users. From what I read in the PHPBB forum there's not a lot we can do about it. Any thought...

Date and Time errors

You may have noticed that the times and dates on the posts and everything else are pretty much screwed up. That is due to a module we added to this program (which obviously isn't working right). Unfortunately the mod also didn't program in a way for me to turn it off. But there is a way for you to t...

It mentions the step-down, but doesn't cover it in detail. Is it a complete drop-off, or a gradual slope?

If you could complete your profile and answer the questions about your home, that info will probably about tell us much of what we need to know to answer your question (like type of waterline, year of home, etc etc). That reminds me that we really need a new newsletter. In the next newsletter, I was going to describe how to use a power snake. If your snake has a small head on it, it might be going right around or thru the blockage without disengaging it. Although that's more common for grease clogs from the kitc...

I have a small brake, but it's really too small to be much good for doing facias or siding.

For those who don't know, a brake is a tool that bends metal.

Do you think running a diesel generator is cheaper than just using electricity to charge the batteries? Anyway to compare costs?

You're always thinking -- I like that.
