RE: Flooring question
Diana, I posted a photo of the counter top in the "My Gallery". Back to the flooring, the original vinyl in my m.h. was pretty smooth and featureless. That made it easy to make sure the Cryntel adhesive had maximum surface to bond to. If the old vinyl has a pattern that includes grooves or...

Hi Diane, I sealed the tiles on the counter top with the best clear silicone sealer/adhesive I could find. I put down a very small bead along each seam, then worked it flush with the tile using my fingers. I let it dry and cure 48 hours before using the top. So far, no problems with that. I supoose ...

RE: Flooring question
Hi, I still have the original cheapy full sheet vinyl under the tiles. So far the tiles are doing very well. I see your point, though. If I had put the tiles down on the bare plywood, I would have had to do extra preparation. The tile looks good. Way better than the original vinyl. If I have trouble...

New Carpet In A 14 X 70
A year and a half ago I had new carpet installed as part of a make-over of this old 14 x 70. I looked at a lot of carpets and got three quotes and wasn't happy with any of them. All wanted to use 12' wide carpet that ended up with a lot of waste, thus costing more. I then found out commercial grade ...

RE: Flooring question
Two years ago I started redoing this mobile home (14 x 70). I selected the Cryntel EuroStone in Sand Stone color from Lowes. I didn't do any grouting. The peel-off vinyl tile is the way to go on a low budget. I was getting quotes of $800 - $1,000 just for labor to do the kitchen/dining area, the bat...

I have made a couple of errors in reporting this problem. The furnace is a 3400-815, not 8400-815. And you are correct, M6 outputs to a 60 amp fuse, not the blower motor. At any rate, the system is working fine again. Thank you again for your help. In (15) years, the furnace has needed only three th...

Robert, Problem solved. With your instructions, I located a bad connector on the yellow 10 ga. wire running from the heating element to M6 on the sequencer. I now realise no votage was being supplied to the blower on automatic, because the power comes from a heating element connection, thru M6, outp...

I by-passed the toggle switch by running a jumper wire from the gray wire coming off of the sequencer to the blue wire going to the blower motor. The blower still will not operate automatically. I checked for voltage at the jumper. The tester indicator light came on, but the blower didn't (??) Yet, ...

Coleman 8400-815 Furnace Blower Motor Won't Come On
The blower motor will not come on automatically. The heating elements fire up and glow until the limit switches turn them off. I replaced the sequencers today, but still no blower. The tran former appears to be working: outputs 24 VAC. When the blower switch is toggled to manual, the blower fan come...

RE: No Heat from Coleman 3400-815
Thanks for starting a Coleman 3400-815 thread. I have a puzzler: Heating elements work fine. Blower motor works fine, but only in manual mode. When it's in AUTO, the thermostat turns on the elements, but the blower motor doesn't come on. Then the limit switches cut the elements off for a minute or t...
