Re: RE: My Profile Tab missing

Bill: Unless I am misunderstanding you...those "missing" links you refer to are NOT on your "Profile" page, but on the "MPS Home" page! Good luck.... Bill That would be great, but I can't get to that link, it is not there. I guess someone has been changing things over ...

RE: My Profile Tab missing

Still trying to upload images so you can "see" what I mean.

As you can see there are no links in the Avatar window to edit my profile.

My Profile Tab missing

It may be only me but is there some reason the "my profile" tab has disappeared from the site? Can't recall when I last saw it but it has been 3 days now.
I was trying to find a way to upload pictures into a post and wanted to change my html to "on".

Spam members

I don't know if others have seen them but I've run across at least 6 spam posters who have registered and posted links from Viagra to porn. I "flagged" one with the "!" link but never got any response. Is there a report on these posters and what is being done? Seems to me if ther...

RE: Deck, but no footers allowed!

When I needed to level an old deck with 4x4 on the ground all I used was 12x12x1" blocks. This site has plans and how-to for many decks. http://www.freedeckplans.com/howtobuild/rectangular/rectangulardeck01.html Just make sure the deck is not attached to your mobile. Many diff. plans on the sit...

RE: New members

I know you prob. don't know about our fishing season north of 49, but I think the Ice fishing huts have to be off the Red River by Mar. 15th. LOL Season is closed for 2007 from April 1 to May 12th. Also we are barbless in Manitoba. Sadly I was never taught how to fish when I was a boy and it is off ...

RE: Daylight Savings Time

I'm not sure when or why, but my XP time was moved ahead another hour today.
Maybe the clock I have on the desktop went online and checked the time.

Re: RE: Profile Music and Firefox

Hi Bill, So would this Active-X warning come up with an older version of media player? Is there a different media player that would be fairly universal to all visitors that could be used? JD I think it depends on the browser and plug-ins that are allowed plus protections that are turned on/off. Eve...

RE: Profile Music and Firefox

JD; I'm running the Vista Beta which is dated June 2006 and when I click on your profile a notice comes up about allowing an ActiveX to run, click o.k. and it plays the song with the player. The link in your post opens Media player 11 and plays o.k. When I started IE7 fresh, it did not ask permissio...

RE: Daylight Savings Time

I'm using XP with SP2 and the download I got last week did change the clock at 2 a.m. Sunday. I assume it will also change back in Nov. I agree with Maureen's good suggestion about letting some electronics do the change over in 3 weeks. and set the manual ones as needed. Although it is past the time...

RE: Daylight Savings Time

I haven't seen it brought up but what happens to electronic equipment that has the first Sunday in April as the change date.

Seems to me that my VCR's, etc. will change to another hour ahead and will be wrong. It would be like they think I am on eastern time instead of central standard time.

Screen Layout size.

Finding my way around; I notice on my monitor, set @ 1024*768, that the screen is centered and doesn't fill the edges. On other phBB forums like bambooweb, they are full screen and they allow more topics, etc., per page, also less scrolling. The one exception is the thread started by Mark called &qu...
