Hi

Good point Maureen. I feel the life expectancy of a water heater is 10-15 years.

RE: doorway question

Hi Fargoman

If you have the space....going higher will probably mean you will have to build a header. I have done it when replacing the siding. It's a fairly difficult DIY project. JMO

Hi

Well it will be easy to spot Heather Mills. Besides the one leg...she'll be the one with the big smile after winning a $56 mil divorce settlement from Paul McCartney.

RE: Would Like To Move Water Heater Tank Outside of Home

Hi Years ago I bought a mobile home that had the electric water heater in a small storage shed which sat on a concrete pad. Who ever moved it did a real neat job....it worked really well. This was in Maryland. The water heater had one of those insulated sacks over it. By the way I've never had a wat...

Hi

Also:

Flat ceilings mean less air to cool/heat and more attic space for insulation.

RE: Pex crimper

Hi

Mark sells the crimpers. See above Books and Parts. My favorite is the Professional Crimper. I also have the combination crimper. You'll need the 3/4" and the 1/2". Get a couple of extra rings and practice before going live.

Harry

PS: also get the go- no go gauge.
