RE: foil barrier insulation asking JD the roof man

Hi, have not used it on a roof but used it in my trucks as we get extreme cold up in northern Canada. while most trucks and sleepers were insulated i found after using this type of product that truck was as much as 40 degrees warmer and that i was turning the heat down in the truck.

What a great video! We may have to link to it in our video section. Definitely shows one way of cleaning air ducts although the instructions would need to be tweaked a bit for mobile homes. Mark Good video on duct cleaning, also viewed some videos on mold. might not be a bad idea to see if you coul...

RE: Plastic Pipe Discoloration Question / Problem?

Hello and Welcome to the site,
The problem that you have may be from the type of water you have in your area. I am not 100% sure but that is what i suspect. the coloring sounds like iron content, and having said that i would not worry to much about it as you have no leaks.

RE: foundation venting

Hi lefties, I use as a rule one square foot of open venting for every150 square foot of floor. If you use a vent that has a insect screen or louvers then add another 35% to your venting area. in your cases you should have approx 13 to 14 square feet of venting. you should have your vents on all side...
