RE: Minor/Major plumbing issues
Jaie, Since I live around the corner from you in Weedsport, I can assure that PEX is the way to go. It is very forgiving, I won't say freeze proof, but one step from it. Lowes has everything you should need. Remember to add shutoff valves when you do the work. Greg

Saxman, You are most likely safe doing the floor & plumbing before you relevel. I would not get into much more than that before you make sure that what you think is level really is. Greg

RE: getting started from scratch - putting home on basement!
Hi & welcome to the forum. Sylvia brings up a point that you may or may not have overlooked. If you are going to turn it into living space yon will have to plan for windows that will allow for escape in case of fire. Basements have been done on mobiles infact Mark has a section on it in his book...

Stefanie, With a Modular home you can add an addition the same way as you would a stick built. I personally would do a poured concrete & block footer. As for a basement I think to would be harder to do than a mobile since a mobile uses the I beams for support, yours is using piers for support. N...

The Husky is an industrial cleaning product. Made by Canberra Corp. Toledo OH. they have a web site (www.cannaberracorp.com) if you want to find a local supplier. We found it after a friend had a fire, used it to take the smoke smell out of her clothes & furniture. Greg

I guess my concern is that this could be a "back door" into the forum. We would need to try it with someone that is not registered and see if they get in. Greg

RE: Under The Kitchen Sink!
Maureen, What I meant was to replace just the bottom shelf of the cabinet. Usually under the sink it gets damp and bows down anyway. if this is starting to happen you will need to change it sooner or later. and it may make access a little easer. Greg

RE: no water pressure
Mickey, Both Hot & cold? What type of pipe do you have going to the kitchen? If it is galvanized, there may be corrosion or lime buildup somewhere. if it is plastic there may be a crimp in the line. Unfortunately it will take some work on your part to find the problem. A while back we had one me...

Weird Log on
I keep forgeting that for some reason I have to log in every time I sign on. Now what is weird is that if I just go to "check messages" it remembers me and I am logged in. Any ideas? (other than Vista!) Greg

Well I just saw the post I made on LED lighting, funny I was at Lowe's last weekend and was looking at LED under cabinet lights for the kitchen. They have 3" round lights for $20. of course they were sold out. Greg
