Re: Coleman Furnace DGAA708BDTA
Order of events is: thermostat calls for heat, combustion motor turns on, vacuum switch closes and is recognized by control board, board then energizes igniter, after about 30-45 seconds gas valve opens, igniter must prove flame or gas valve closes, if igniter proves flame igniter circuit is shut do...

Re: DGAA077BDTA Coleman Doors
Do you still need that part? I recently replaced a couple of these units and have the spare doors on hand.

Re: Coleman Furnace DGAA708BDTA
New or old those combustion motors are prone to seizing. It is humming but not spinning. You could pull it apart, free it and then oil it up. May last another season, may not. Best advice I can give you is to run that motor at least once a month to allow it to not sit for an extended period which us...

Re: Coleman DGAH077BBSB FIXED!
Good deal!!! The motor will come out. If you ever have to do that again, look into the bottom of the assembly. You will see 2 machine nuts, they hold the motor to that 3 screw bracket. Remove the machine nuts, the motor will fall away from the bracket. Remove the 3 screws holding the bracket and the...

Re: Blower keeps cycling
There is a series of terminals on the bottom of the board. From right to left they are labelled on the board: L1/xfmr, L1, cool, heat. The terminals cool and heat are where the blower gets it power for cooling and heating. If you have a jumper between cool and heat and ONLY 1 wire coming from the wh...

Re: Blower keeps cycling
Greg I think you are running too high of a blower speed for heat. Usually the speed setting for heat on that furnace is either medium, if a 3 speed and medium-high if a 4 speed blower.

Re: Blower keeps cycling
The board controls all blower operation unless you are running the air conditioner. When the blowers comes on for heat is it a slower speed than for air conditioning? If so, when it comes on when it is NOT supposed to, is it the lower heat speed or the higher air conditioner speed?

Re: Many clicks before starting (not a relay).
Makes perfect sense to have those on hand. I would replace the igniter in your case. Probably glazing over and not reading well enough to prove flame. Some guys claim you can lightly scuff them with steel wool but since I have a business I prefer not to have a customer go down during the night or we...

Re: Nordyne furnaces don't have filters?
No I have used pleated filters with no apparent loss of furnace efficiency. I would say as long as it is only 1" thick you will be okay. Have one customer that uses the 1' thick $15 allergen filters and he says it's no problem. Those seem to catch the smallest of particulate matter.

Prior to removing any running gear you had better check the rules of the park you live in. Some want the axles left under there.

Re: Nordyne furnaces don't have filters?
Go to a big box store and get a couple 16x20x1 filters. Cut about 3/8" off one side of the filters along the 16" dimension side. They will fit into the door better. Usually there is a wire that holds the filters in place, if not still ther bend up a hanger to hold them in. I usually use tw...

Re: Many clicks before starting (not a relay).
On the M1 the igniter is the flame sensor. Not real sure about all the clicking but there is a fair amount as the unit cycles up. Check for a spider web in the main burner oriface before replacing any parts. That will cause a small flame and the igniter will not prove flame thusly shutting the gas v...
