hey gillard,, another suggestion up here in edmonton alta you do need a 6 mil layer of poly on the ground surface not covered with anything. and also here they must blocked be a minimum of 36 inches off the ground pls check with your nearest town or county for all there laws also your insurance comp...

one more suggestion if you dont have is... soffit and fasia and a roof overhang,, will help keep water from running down the side of the home ...up here that is a option not sure about your area

hiya gillard,, just a few hints from personal experiances ive had ,those decals you are looking for are always near the front door up here but if the m/h has been sided it will be covered up so you can do a good look see on the inside of the m/h ive seen spec sheets on the inside of a cupboard door,...

just one small note, up here in canada we can buy the green pressure treatment liquid in a can when we make cuts in pressure treated wood. goes on like paint,, if not i think linseed oil would work also

it depends if you have a soffit and fasia ,existing or your adding one or not if your not adding soffit and fasia i would think it would go on the outside furring strip,just my opinion ,im sure some others that have done it or the experts on this board will chime in with there expert advice

one more thought maybe your insulation is too high near the top of your outer walls and cold air getting in the soffits is getting trapped there an causing your icedaming just one more thing to looki at if your taking off shingles and sheeting

judging by your pic of outside the home you have a fairliy low pitched roof...the soffit seems a bit to small for good venting.. my self i'd use metal and get the snow sliding off faster maybe build a pony wall of sorts down the ridge and new joists down to the edge and get more pitch just another i...
