Replacing Kitchen Cabinets

(Hope this is the right place for this) Someone on another board had this question, and I told them about this site, but I don't think they've seen my response yet, so I'll ask it for them. The problem is that their lightweight cabinets are sagging, and they want to replace them with regular wood ca...

RE: What' the best paint ?

I think there's a substitute for TSP now, that isn't so strong, as in wearing gloves and all that. I've used the Bullseye (Zinsser) 123, and been very happy with it. Since it's a bonding primer, it will adhere to your surface well, and allow the paint to adhere to it. I found it best to give it at l...

RE: Flooring question

Texas, I searched the Lowe's site, and they all said peel and stick installation. I didn't see any that mentioned acrylic grout. Sounds interesting though; be sure to post if you find more info about it.

RE: Questions Questions Questions!

Yanita, try again; I just updated....what I could remember, at least. Our MH is at the beach, and I need to check on some of the specifics next time I go. I think I just gave myself a reason for a beach trip. :D Just to experiment, I'll try to post a pic of the faux block wall I did at my daughter's...

Thanks Mark and Greg. I'll give it another shot. Who knows, maybe I'll even move on to creating a picture album someday. :)

Questions Questions Questions!

Well, I was hoping to be here awhile before you all had to find out what a ditz I am, but I guess there's no putting it off. It seems that I can't even figure out how to create a profile, at least part of it. My questions: Where it says: http://www.myspace.com/ (I'm not on MySpace) What do I do? Whe...

Trudi, I'm glad I'm not the only mom with a nutty daughter. I'm really glad I found this site too. I've been itching to do the tissue paper thing on my walls here at home. It's a nice effect, but if you do it, don't make the mistake I did. I spackled the seams, then sanded when dry. They still show...

RE: countertop

LOL, you two remind me of my daughter and myself. I just spent 2 1/2 days in Tn, working in her mobile home, and have the sore neck to prove it. I did the tissue paper treatment on her LR walls almost 2 years ago, and just now got to do the glazing step, which to me, makes it. I also got to t...
