Hmmm,
Good question, never really thought about it before, our singlewide had cathedral in the living room and kitchen, then flat in baths and bedrooms.
Mark, JD, any reasoning or theories behind this, does an all cathedral ceiling home cost more than flat ceilings?

RE: anyone use Congoleum flooring?
Hi, The singlewide we sold last year was an Oakwood. We had the home for 10 years and the vinyl still was good as new. BUT, as with anything it is in the maintenance. If you get the cheap like I did (the home came with it) then you treat it a little "nicer" than you might normally. Alot wi...

Hi,
Don't recall what OS you are using on PC, but I know that microsoft put out a hotfix for XP sp2 last week. Go to the microsoft homepage.
As for my other electronics I will do the math as Maureen is going to do.

RE: Hanging plants
Hi Guys, As I was sorting through gardening stuff today I thought I would share a tip for those of us that do not have drip systems for hanging plants. I came across my vast collection of colored bottles...you can do this as decoratively as you want. Simply wrap the bottle in some sort of wire. I le...

Just to add my 2 cents...whichever brand name and rating you choose they will only look as good as the subfloor that is underneath them. As JD said read your warranty well. I find that most of them are not worth much unless a professional installer from their company does the install. Your post does...

Hi Dakota and Hubby! Again Welcome to the site! Here's my take on buying the new home...forget the pretty stuff! Go for bigger floor joist, studs and plywood flooring! What type of plumbing does the home have, windows/doors and roof! For roofs I prefer shingles and make sure you have an overhang. Ge...

Hi, I just went to check your profile to see where you live (state) and there is none. A profile is very helpful, please consider completing yours. Where I used to live it is common for the water to start ponding in a very short period of time, we had a very hard clay base, and the water table is ve...

RE: Park Living PRO's & CON's
Own or renting...park or property, as long as people live near one another there certainly will be issues sooner or latter. Hubby and I have had this property less than a year, a few weeks ago the home across the road from us was rented out. It's a fair distance away, but it certainly does not stop ...

Hi, What is it exactly that you want park management to repair? If the septic is fine then I doubt they will absorb any cost in repairing your home. You would have to show absolute on how the home was damaged from the septic tank, or standing water. You say the lot is level, thats a good thing. The ...

Hi, Glad you are excited about the possibility of another home...BUT...DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Check every square inch of this home, including under and behind all appliances, wherever water enters the home. Sign nothing until you have completely inspected this home, and then you should consider a profess...
