fireplace question..

this double wide that I am submitting an offer on tomorrow- has a corner fireplace that looks brick-- however closer inspection finds that it is some type of board with fake bricks on it.. they look to be maybe 1/2 inch thick... my question is ... do you think you could pry off the ugly fake bricks....

just an update... finally found a lender and got approved for 100k loan price of the house started at 169,000 dropped to 149 and now 134.. i need to have 3% for the down payment and i have 2/3 of that saved.. now just playing the waiting game for the price to drop.. before my agent offers them 100k ...

wow thats pretty cool... yeah yanita.. being an old hand at mobile home living i did the old jump and bounce technique on all the floors.. lol and checked all the ceilings esp. the closet celings for any trace of leaks...

just waiting on the lender and the agent now...

does anyone else have the two large arched windows in the bedroom at the end of their mobile home? they are about 6 foot tall and begin at the floor? if so what type of window treatment have your used?

actually I have found that a kerosun heater placed under the ceiling fan in my livingroom will heat the entire home.. of course you only want to use it when u are home and make sure you have a carbon monoxide alarm installed I shut it down when i leave for work and turn the thermastat all the way down

oh it came that way new, it appears to just be wall paneling... and cheapy 2x 2's that have a scrolled edge for the beams (my dad bought this place brand new then sold it to someone and then I ended up buying it from them.... I took a loan from my dad to buy it and he said ... dang it now i've bough...
