Re: Relevel - Questions

Thanks so much for the assistance! I lived in Southern California and my parents moved into a Mobile Home Community after retirement. After each earthquake from 1990 to 2002 their home was inspected and releveled if needed. My home, is in dire need of being releveled! I have brick skirting all the w...

Relevel - Questions

I'm starting to look for someone to re-level our DW. What are the 'key' questions to ask so that we get the job done right? How much 'interior' inspection is necessary, it worries me to death to have strangers in the house anymore? We are not in the physical condition to do it ourselves. How is the ...

Prime/Paint in One

Has anyone tried the Behr paint with the primer in it? I'm thinking it's probably not a good product for our vinyl wallboard.
The same with the Kilz custom colors with the primer in it? Buying paint is only a few days away....

RE: Inside corners of rooms...

Something I did on a single wide I worked on 10 yrs ago. I used the aerosol cans of expanding foam insulation to fill the large gaps in the wallboard. I gave it a day to fully expand and dry then I took a very sharp utility knife and shaved off the excess. I filled in with joint compound and the dry...

I DID use the Fusion spray paint on the shower surround where I lived last year. It held up for about a year then where the tub and the surround met it started to peel. My mom had her green tub reglazed white when she lived in San Marcos, CA. It looked great for the five years she lived there after ...

Robert,
Sorry, the information under my kitchen sink doesn't say HA or HB.
Where else might I find that information?

Thanks,
Denise

??New Thermostat??

I THINK I need a new thermostat. The unit is running and running. It gets so hot in here I can't stand it. It's an Intertherm (from inside the cover plate #65A-473-765) that came with the home. The furnace is a Nordyne E2EB015. This is a heat-pump style furnace. I (think I) would like to replace the...

Have you tried using a small roller that has the "V" shape? as you roll it. Some times I think it's called a "corner roller" I see more in the foam then the nap kind. Just a suggestion http://cgi.ebay.com/R040-Wooster-Corner-Paint-Roller-72-pcs-+-14-Refills_W0QQitemZ370148913418Q...

RE: Mirrored Cabinet Doors

I just wanted you to know that I opted for breaking out the glass. I put tape on both side and covered it with sheets of newspaper and cracked it out. Whatever I decide to put in I will use quarter-round on the back to keep it in place. http://mobilehomerepair.com/phpbb/userpix/3591_blk_door_1.jpg W...
