RE: Replacing door
Craigslist...lol
I found 2 32" doors and a 36" door with a storm door for free. I was going to cut them down but the 36 wound just look goofy at only 75".
Your best bet would be a standard 80" tall door since finding shorter ones seem to be overly expensive.

My neighbor rented the machine from home depot today...
He already had the bathroom ceiling down, so from there he could reach multiple areas. Another hole cut into the hallway was all he needed. We used a piece of pvc to "guide" the blown in where it needed to be.

I have been working non-stop, trying to stop or reroute the flooding that occurs nearly everytime it rains here. Gravel here, bushes here, top soil here... I'm down to one problem now. The rain runs down my gravel driveway and pools in one small spot, maybe a 2x3 area. This pool is where I graded an...

I was kinda thinking that the old siding would of also helped with weatherproofing, but yea it makes more sense. Anyone else out there with solutions to heating/weatherization? I am including some pics of my siding...The first 2 are the bottom (duh) You can clearly see, even though it's a small gap,...

The gaps are from the factory. The sheet aluminum is "waved" about 1/4 inch outward every 3 inches for about 1 1/2 inches. They only screwed the siding to the MH in the low spots. The other spots are open. It is the same on the top but there is a lengthwise piece of aluminum on top to prev...

The only way I know to stop roaches is a nuke...not sure that'll work either though. My old apartment we had house centipedes. If you have never come across these things, you are very fortunate. They are often compared to roaches in their difficulty to control. We siliconed every single crack that w...
