Re: Coleman heater keeps shutting off

Hi Craig,

What is the complete furnace model number ? Is the limit that is tripping up next to or attached to the blower housing ?

Or is it about midway of the furnace ?

Thanks,
Robert

Hi Zac,

Go to transformer and test Primary-Line side for 240vac across the two terminals.

Then go to other side, Secondary-Load side and test for 24vac.

Let me know what you get.

Thanks,
Robert

Re: Coleman furnace

HI, What I was saying is that the ignitor could have been going bad earlier, but the inducer motor problem/pressure switch problem would override it and diagnostic light would show that first. Once you corrected that and got it going again, the ignitor problem surfaced on diagnostic light. IF it get...

Re: Coleman EB15B intermittent auto fan problem

Hi,

The t-stat itself will often cause problems. Great ceiling fans, but not t-stats.

The sequencer test itself was all that was needed.

Re: Filter location for AGC100GAS

Hi,

Yes, it goes behind the upper louvered door.

Filter # 102957000

Filter Retainer # 302257000

Call Mark @ 605-229-2627 and see if he has those or can get them or a compatible replacement.

Thanks,

Re: Nordyne Intertherm E2EB-020HB

Hi, Your furnace has two contactors and two relays that together control the elements and the blower motor . The circuits can run through them even though that one may not actually control the circuit or component. Without thorough electrical testing, hard to say which one may be at fault or if it's...

Re: Coleman EB15B intermittent auto fan problem

Hi, Sequencer is definitely bad. Sequencer # 3115 - 3571 can be seen and ordered from here by paging down: http://www.aberdeenhomerepair.com/store/product/2311/3115-3571-sequencer I would suggest replacing the Hunter t-stat with a Honeywell. IF you choose to remain with the Hunter, leave it set to H...

Re: Coleman furnace

Hi, Not sure which pressure switch you received, but the replacement switch does have a different p/n, but also has the two vacuum ports. Sorry for the wrong part and misinformation. For the ignitor, there is often more than one problem that arise at same time, sometimes tied together. In this case,...

Re: Coleman Evcon EB17B Serial#950531147

Hi,

Could be several things. Need to check for voltage at blower motor and elements to find out exactly where the interruption in power is at.
