Now that I have the cheap wood removed from around the window sill, I see some serious gaps that I could seal to prevent wind and dust from coming in. What do you guys prefer? Spray foam or caulk. State your reasons please.
Thanks!

What is this small groove in vinyl windows?
My mobile home has cheap, thin wood in all the window sills. I removed all of it and plan on adding some drywall, corner beads, mud, etc. I noticed a small groove around the entire vinyl window and I'm not sure what it's for. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Unwanted double doors for master bathroom
I'm really not sure why a bathroom in a mobile home needs double doors. Have any of you guys removed the double doors and put in something else? What about the weird gap at the top? I have one word for this style....ugly. I need some makeover ideas.
Thanks!

Bathroom mirror difficult to remove
The top of this mirror has some plastic mounting hardware. But the bottom of the mirror, shown in this photo, is different. It feels like it's permanently mounted in this metal piece. I didn't pry very hard because I didn't want to break the glass. What is the best way to remove the mirror with this...

Is it even safe to stand on then? I plan on getting up there this week to paint it with Henry's white roof sealant.

Window sill destroyed by water damage
Any ideas on the best way to replace this 2x6 below the window? I hope I don't have to remove the kitchen counter top to do this.
Thanks!

Plastic corner beads work for inside corners?
I have removed the battens inside my mobile home and now I'm about to add the plastic corner beads. Is there any reason why I couldn't use these for inside corners too? Some of the inside corders have a huge gap between the two pieces of drywall, and so I thought these might work good to help hold t...

Why is my roof so lumpy?
If you look closely, my metal roof is wavy/lumpy. If this was a factory job, which I think it is, why does it do this? Surely there is some sort of sub-roof below the metal, plywood perhaps?

Re: What kind of vent is this?
Should I buy a new one and put it on the inside wall so the vent actually works as designed? How important is this?

Where to purchase drywall and floor boards
Apparently I need drywall panels that are 3/8 of an inch, which is not sold at places like Home Depot. Does anyone know where I can buy that size?
Also, I need ¾ inch plywood to fix a hole in the floor. Of the different grades available, can anyone suggest what would work best?
Thank you.

The best way to operate on an underbelly
I tore out a shower recently and will soon use a PEX wrench to cap the water lines. Then I will also cap the drain pipe. I'm wondering what is the best way to fix the hole in the fabric that covers the belly of the home.
Thanks!
