RE: Question on marble sinks
Just like the paint on your car, you need to buff it...actually with the same items.lol Use a medium buffing compound and a polishing wax for cultured marble sinks. Make sure the polish is approved for fiberglass bodies. Then rinse sink thoroughly. True marble can be buffed the same way but I would ...

RE: New Owner MOULD
No meaning of sounding like a know-it all to anyone, but directly spraying mold releases thier spores. You should dampen a rag with an anti mold solution (bleach is just fine) and dab the infected area. Place a fan in the window to suck out any spores that are released and close off the room you are...

The bathroom was the most time consuming with unforseen problems...It was supposed to be new vanity, tub and toilet. I moved the toilet over about 5 inches, which was easier said than done.lol While pulling out the old tub unit I realized the walls behind were covered in black and brown mold. Then I...

I actually sprayed the walls. Considered sheetrocking for insulation purposes but was in a time cruch. I probably spent around $10,000.00 remodeling. Some people will say that's way to much but I wanted it to be mine. Went to home depot to pick up the $89.00 bath vanity on special...came home with t...

Thank you everyone... The backsplash for the oven is a piece of fiberglass sheet laid over a piece of thin steel. It's the same fiberglass sheets that lowes or home depot sells for bathrooms. It's trimmed out in aluminum. I'll try and get a better pic... Bathroom anyone? Before... http://mobilehomer...

RE: preventing bathroom repairs?
I installed a tempering valve. It adds just a touch of hot water to the toilet, not barely enough to make a difference in the hot water tank so my electric bill didn't suffer. I should of gone with a insulated tank but didn't realize the problem untilI installed my new toilet...

Mine came from a local RV mart. But I was told by my local Ace hardware (the only place I could also fine clutch head drivers...lol)
that they could order me one, but I didn't like the plastic cover...mine is stainless steel on both sides.

Our water temps are warmer than the north.I do not know what area you reside in, just thought I would include the info. Yanita That's what I was gett...

RE: Electric Tankless Water Heaters.
In Texas, you wouldn't be to bad with the electric, but still not very cost effective. Gas is the only way to go, but you'll be paying the same amount for insulation and venting as the heater itself...
