Dont have a Digital Camera... Just go to Wal Mart and get a Disposable Camera. After taking your photos, take the camera back to Wal Mart and have them put it on CD ROM. It only cost me $2.97 last week. Then you can copy the photos from CD to your computer and then upload when ready. The pics are ab...

Is the area screened or blocked? Is the smell a day or so after a good rain? Is it something dead or the septic tank backing up?

I prefer screens so air can blow under the house and keep the ground dry. I know that dont comply with regulations in every State.

Carpet wears out from the Bottom Up. (1) If the carpet is Old... you might could stretch it. (2) If the carpet is Old... It might Tear when you stretch it. I am guessing this is glue down carpet. Not carpet over pad. (1) If you pull it up to stretch it... you may have to put down MORE GLUE over the ...

You mentioned building a new pitched roof with trusses. Do you mean like a Roof that is not really attached to the house. but is more like making a Carport over the house? If so. That is not a bad idea. The roof will keep the sun off the house making it easier to keep cool in the summer. Just have t...

The water could... in theory... be seeping in from the sides and running to the middle. Is the floor soft there? Before you put down vinyl the flooring guys might cover the floor with Luann (brand name for thin thin plyboard). This is so the floor will be really smooth for the vinyl. If you are gett...

Is it a fire hazard? Well you never know if anyone else might someday try to plug something into it. Not everyone is observant and some people ignore it when they get shocked. It could be the plug or could be the wiring. The only way to know for sure is to have an Electrician look at it. Hint Hint. ...

You may also consider putting some insulation on the inlet pipe. If the water coming from the earth is 50 degrees and the house is 70 degrees you can get condensation. Just like when you set a glass of cola on the table. Also put insulation on the outlet piping so you dont waste energy from the wate...

If you did feel a shock throw away the vacuum cleaner. You did not mention if this was in a new mobile home or an older house. My mobile home was built in the 1960's. I ended up just putting all new wiring and a new breaker box in. I put the new wiring on top of the paneling and the old wiring is st...

One thing to consider would be the location and application. For a bathtub or for lots of dishwashing, I think a standard model would supply a better volume of hot water. For just a bathroom sink, where you are not using lots of water, a tankless model would probably be OK. You still have to get pow...

When I was helping install mobile homes ( I was not the boss, I was the guy in the mud under the house)... We were taught to also put a pier on either side of every exerior door, a pier under fireplaces, bookcases, and bay windows. So I would feel better if you had some support under the fish tank. ...

I dont know nuthin about Indy car racing. I used to like Nascar before it went Hollywood. I dont watch it anymore because it aint real people racing, just a bunch of rich punks.

Anyway, whatever Danika Patrick is doing, I like it. Not only is she super-pretty, but she is super talented.

Not every Water Softener works best in every place. I see you are in Florida. You may have more Sulphur in the water... whereas, in Arkansas we have more Iron. I suggest getting ahold of a Rural Water company and talk with their plant manager. Also talk with your neighbors and the co-oprative county...

A 1970 model home... if anybody else has lived there before you, they may have done some wiring too. That is one reason a standard wiring diagram may not have all the answers. I am not sure what year they stopped using Aluminum Wiring in Mobile Homes, but that is one reason to just go ahead and re-w...

Yes, go to a MH dealer. Dont go to the girl in the front, ask the scroungy guy in the back.
Take cash.
I am guessing about $20 for a wheel maybe $50 if it has a tire on it. But dont say that first, just bring cash.
